The content covers everything from basic structure, classification, clinical symptoms, treatment and vaccination, to influenza in animals, and the well known past and recent influenza epidemics and pandemics, ie Spanish flu, bird flu, swine flu and equine flu. We also deal with influenza as a bioterrorist weapon, but a broader review on bioterrorism is still to be completed.
